Bird Watching 002- 2021 Women's Coach - Jordan Handcock

In season 2021, we are seeking to improve the profile of board members coaches and players to enhance off field connections and links with past players, members and supporters.

This week the club presents the coach of our new Women’s team, Jordan Handcock, who is excited to lead them through their historic, inaugural season of footy.

Nickname: Jordy

Role at Football Club: Coach, Women’s

How long have you been at NFFC and what attracted you to the club?

‘Have been at the club since 2017, Sam Mainwaring brought a whole bunch of us from junior footy at Palmyra Junior Football Club across to NF and the rest is history’.

Who is family and what does it mean to you?

‘My mates, people that have your back no matter what!’

If you were a professional fighter, what song would you walk out to?

‘Thunderstruck – ACDC’

Favourite place to holiday?

‘Yallingup or anywhere with a fire and beer’

Activity, interest or favourite thing to do when not at the club, work, or studying?

‘Having a few beers with the boys….and girls'

What would you like to be better at?

‘Swimming’

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

‘Corona’

You are the host of your own late night talk show….who do you invite as your first guest and why?

‘Michael Hutchence, he would've had some hectic stories from back in the day’.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given?

‘No one remembers second’

Have you ever completed anything on your ‘bucket list’ or if not, what is it that you would like to complete the most?

‘I'd be pretty keen to go snowboarding some day’

‘Everyone gets around each other, no matter if you're a past player, current player or just a friend of someone at the club’.
