A great Ladies Night weekend for the club that started with the Brett Jones Colts defeating arch rivals CBC under lights on Thursday night at Buzzacott. 3's & 4's had a bus trip to remember up to kingsley with 106 and 80 point wins respectively, continuing their run of form at the top of the ladder. Back down at the Gil for Ladies Night, the Ressies took care of Stirling by 73 points as the curtain raiser for the big night game in front of the marquee.

5pm rolled around and the marquee was packed with about 80 lovely ladies to watch the league take on Stirling. Whilst I don't think many (or any) ladies watched any of the footy, if the did they would've been thrilled with what they saw as teh boys rolled Stirling by 85 points under lights. A great offensive performance which saw 23 goals kicked. As for Ladies Night, this was our biggest and best yet with the marquee at full capacity, which flowed into a huge night back up at the hall. Thanks to everyone who helped out with propably 15-20 of the guys and girls putting their hands up to help in some capacity - far too many to name individually.

A special thanks goes to two of the ladies of North Fremantle who were unable to enjoy the marquee and celebrations because they were behind the bar ensuring the night was a huge social and financial success - Nicci Hush & Sammie Thake (plus Dean Thake). Nicci and Sammie ran the bar all day and night to make sure the night went off without a hitch and looked after the most important thing - making sure the drinks were cold and everyone was well hydrated!

Lastly thanks to everyone who attended in any capacity for your support of the club - the social functions are for your enjoyment and good to see such a massive turnout! The top colts were scheduled to play Stirling this Wednesday but Stirling have forfeited - meaning we won 6/6 last round! Success breeds success so let's keep this rolling through the middle of the year.
