President Report: Round 10 - June 22

The highlight of the weekend was the terrific win by the Brett Jones Colts: North 6.15 (45) to TA’s 4.8 (32). However it was another ‘horribilus’ weekend with more League injuries and across all sides. The weather wasn’t great and just added to the complex puzzle of further juggling players upwards to fill numerous vacancies, up to nine in some instances and eight or so in the League.

Two wins out of six games on the weekend with a somewhat sombre end to the League game. A Reserves and D1 League good winners on Saturday!

President Report: Round 6 May 18

North came away with three wins and three losses over the weekend. The Phil Scott Colts kicked off a great day at home with a commanding performance against Wanneroo. North dominated the game and set the tone for the A Reserves and League teams. The Colts ran out comfortable winners: North 8-4 (52) Wanneroo 3-10 (28).

PRESIDENTS REPORT: Round 5 11 April 2019

Huge day at Gil Fraser Reserve on Saturday with the return of the NFAFC and CBC traditional Derby! A big crowd in attendance witnessed a fantastic match with fast flowing football, tough and desperate desire to win the ball and, as many in the crowd commented, “A hard and clean game of football!”

Gil Fraser Reserve: The Annual ANZAC round of football games is kicked off by the Phil Scott Colts at 10.40am, Gil Fraser Reserve. The Colts wear a special ANZAC jumper, which pay tribute to those who lost their lives so many years ago and commemorate the various theatres of war in which they fought. This is an enormously important game to the lads! A special Colts ANZAC Julian Murphy Medallion is struck annually best NFAFC player on the ground.

All members and supporters of the NFAFC, families and community members, are invited to attend a special ANZAC Day Service at 9am at the Fallen Soldiers Monument in North Fremantle on ANZAC Day 25 April 2019.

Round One 2019: CALLING ALL MAGGIES!! Opening League game is this Saturday April 6 2019

Presidents Report: Kai Fella Cup Football Day

The last of our preseason scratch matches concluded on Sunday, at CBC, as a special day of the Kai Fella Cup Charity Matches series. The Colts, Threes and Fours kicked off the day! All had good hit outs in preparations for a positive 2019 season! Our A reserves certainly showed dominance throughout their game. Good signs!

Inaugural Kai Fella Cup Dinner

The inaugural Kai Fella Cup Dinner is rapidly looming, on the evening of Friday March 29th 2019! The Dinner is a pre-cursor to the inaugural Kai Fella Cup charity football match to be played between traditional rival football clubs CBC Amateur FC and North Fremantle Amateur FC the following day. Kai played for both Clubs.

2019 Rule Changes

In late 2018 the AFL made some significant changes to the Laws of Australian Football.

President Report: North Back Into A Grade!

North back into A Grade! Saturday 1st September was a day of three Preliminary finals, with teams from across Perth playing at Gil Fraser Reserve, two of which showcased our own B League and B Reserves. We had some two thousand people watching the games all day. All were responsible and we did not have any negative incident.

President Report Round 18: 11 August 2018

The last home and away games on Saturday realised 3 out of 6 wins, all impacting on finals participation for 2018. The League were outstanding in their clash against Swan Athletic

President Report Round 17: 4 August 2018

Four wins out of six games again this week, with all senior teams winning, but Colts were not as successful. Conditions were extremely difficult with strong winds and heavy rain. Teams which adapted best to the conditions gave themselves a good chance for victory.
